Acceptance of terms
By creating an account you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the platform. We may update these terms from time to time and will notify you of material changes by email and in-app notification. Continued use after notification constitutes acceptance.
User conduct
You agree not to post content that is illegal, abusive, deceptive, or infringes the rights of others. You are responsible for all content posted under your account. We reserve the right to remove content or suspend accounts that violate these terms, at our discretion.
Content, location tags, and search location
When you publish content with a location tag, you grant us a non-exclusive licence to display that location as part of your post and to index it for location-based search. Location tags are used solely to power discovery features and contextual advertising — they are not sold or shared with third parties. Separately, if you enable location-for-search in Settings, you grant us permission to request your device coordinates at the time of a search query in order to rank results by proximity. Those coordinates are used only for that query and are not retained. You retain ownership of all content you create.
Advertising
The platform displays advertising via Google AdSense. Ads are part of the service that keeps the platform free; the ability to view ads cannot be disabled. You may opt out of personalised advertising at any time in your Privacy Settings — this switches your view to non-personalised (contextual-only) ads. By using the platform you agree to the display of advertising.
Email communications
We will send you transactional emails necessary to operate your account (security alerts, password resets, policy updates). With your specific consent, we will also send marketing emails. You can manage all email preferences in Settings. An unsubscribe link is included in every marketing email and takes effect immediately.
Intellectual property
You retain ownership of content you create. By posting, you grant us a royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to display and distribute that content within the platform. We retain ownership of the platform, its design, and all proprietary technology. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute platform software or design without written permission.
Termination
You may delete your account at any time via Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms with or without notice. On account deletion, your personal data is removed in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim or £100.
